De papieren agenda is nog steeds "IN"!

Material Dynamic;

Million dollar gifts

When money isn't the issue and you are running out of ideas,.... maybe this selection might help you to get there;

Victoria's Secret Fantasy Bra

Once again, Victoria’s Secret has upped the high-priced panty ante with their 2007 Fantasy Bra set, featuring $4.5 million worth of diamonds, rubies, yellow sapphires and emeralds woven onto a push-up bra, garter, thong, wrist cuff and barrette.

Inspired by the winter poinsettia, this floral get-up — although not appropriate for the office holiday bash — was definitely meant to be seen.

Can It Play 'Stairway'?

While most people are running out to buy "Guitar Hero III," those with serious bank are opting for something a little more exclusive.

World-class guitar-maker Gibson is issuing in limited quantities the world’s first robotic guitar. The Gibson Robot Guitar, $2,499, tunes itself while adjusting to changing climates. With only 10 guitars per participating supplier, this sleek instrument is perfect for any rock star or trust fund baby.

For the Chocoholic

What better way to immortalize a chocolate lover than a one-of-a-kind set of portraits by Vik Muniz, an artist who will paint your recipient's likeness in Bosco syrup.

This gift, featured in the 100th edition of the famous Neiman Marcus Christmas Book, will leave you looking good enough to eat. Cost? $110,000.

For Daddy's Little (Spoiled) Princess

Who needs "Project Runway" when mommy and daddy can buy you a Custom Couture Fashion Design Kit from famed toy emporium FAO Schwarz, $895.

Aside from fabric and sketch pad, this gift comes with your very own NYC fashion designer to help turn your vision into a reality.

When a New Yacht Just Won't Cut It

When every Tom, Dick and Harry at your country club has his own megayacht, set your man apart with his very own air-conditioned submarine.

The Neiman Marcus-Edition Gem Triton 1000 from U.S. Submarines has leather seating and 360-degree views of the deep blue yonder.

Included in the $1.44 million price-tag is a two-day training program, as well as a bejeweled key chain.

For the Botox Babe

Any surgically-enhanced gal knows the woes of a new wrinkle. So for those ladies who like to safeguard their skin against the hands of time, we suggest extending that mindset to their handbags.

Zagliani’s python handbags are both soft-skinned and supple, thanks a silicone treatment much like a Botox injection. The designer's metallic python clutch, $1,400, is a favorite among celebrities, both nipped and tucked.

For the Opulent Organic

Made from all natural materials, Goyard’s canvas "St. Louis" shopper tote, $1,065, is the perfect companion for any trip to the farmer’s market. The bag is also completely recyclable, so after it gets dirtied up, it can be put to good use ... like providing the materials for a $1,000 lunch box.

Attack any course like a pro with the Nike STR8-FIT driver

If you have played the Tiger Woods video game, you know how easy it is to add a slight draw or fade to your tee shot. The new driver called SQ Dymo STR8-FIT from Nike promises to bring the same comfort to a real golf game. Imagine changing clubs for different weather conditions, a different course and even a different swing. Nike’s new driver offer you a TOUR van worthy arsenal of face angles in one simple shaft and club head combination. It helps golfers adjust their club head to one of eight different positions by changing the face angle, lie angle and effective loft, with the help of a torque-limiting wrench. The club shaft unfastens easily from the head through a threaded locking nut. After that, the shaft can be rotated to one of eight positions. Described justly as “one club, one swing, eight shots,” the $550 driver is able adjust the fade, draw and distance of your shot. Nike has an interactive demo of the new technology on their site.

Hit them hard and clean,...

The success story of Richard Branson

Richard Branson – (Sir Richard Branson actually!) is the British Entrepreneur, most famous for his publicity stunts and founding Virgin Atlantic Airways. How has he become so successful? Was it his likeable personality and ability to entertain, a bit of good luck, hard work or a combination of all those qualities, as well as many others?
Sir Richard Branson is a British entrepreneur, famous for his Virgin brand of over 200 companies. Today, his worth is estimated at over US$7.8 billion according to the Sunday Times Rich List 2006.
Sir Richard's first successful business was at age 16, when he dropped out of secondary school and moved to London to set up a magazine called Student. His next business, a record mail-order company, led to his big break: a chain of record stores called Virgin Megastores, now with over 100 stores worldwide.
Branson's Virgin brand grew rapidly during the 1980s when he set up Virgin Atlantic Airways. Other brands that have followed since include Virgin Cola, Virgin Vodka, Virgin Mobile, Virgin Finance, Virgin Brides, Virgin Cinema and over a hundred others.
Not all of Sir Richard’s ventures have been a success: Virgin Trains damaged the company’s reputation, as they inherited many of the problems left over from British Rail. He also had to sell Virgin Records in 1992 to keep his airline alive: a move he regretted, resulting in the launch of V2 Records a few years later.
Other interesting facts about Sir Richard:
- Virgin Galactic plans to make flights to outer space available to the public with tickets priced at US$200,000.
- His company is called Virgin, because Sir Richard and the other co-founders were all “virgins to business”
- He owns Necker Island, a 74-acre island in the British Virgin Islands.
- He has been involved in a number of world record-breaking attempts for oceans crossings by both boat and hot air balloon.
- He had a reality TV show called The Rebel Billionaire
- The Simpson's have based a character on Sir Richard
- He was knighted in 1999 for "services to entrepreneurship"
- Sir Richard appears at No. 85 on the 2002 BBC list of "100 Greatest Britons"
- Sir Richard was ranked in 2007's Time Magazine Top 100 Most Influential People in the World.

Zenvo's ST1 – The First Danish Supercar

Danish company Zenvo Automotive has apparently close to entering the final phases of testing its first all-Danes' designed supercar, codenamed the ST1.

According to Zenvo, the project was birthed way back in 2004, and the ST1 will go into a limited production of 15 in 2009. This is no ordinary Danish cookie: the rear-wheel-drive ST1 hides a turbocharged and super-charged 7.0-liter V8 engine, mid-mounted, and capable of 1,104bhp with an electronically top speed of 233mph.

Zenvo claims that the ST1 clocked a 0-62mph (0-100km/h) sprint during its first performance test in 3.2 seconds in early October this year, (apparently, that still falls short of the Danish company’s goal of a flat three seconds).

The subsequent 0-124mph (0-200km/h) run chalked up 8.9s. That record should not worry the likes of the Bugatti Veyron or the SSC Ultimate Aero, but for a first shot at producing its own supercar, Zenvo has certainly scored a Danish delight.
